Sound Design for
the Catholic Liturgy
SERVICES PROVIDED:

Advise parish leadership on the design, purchase, installation and maintenance of sound reinforcement within the church environment

Advise sound contractors on the liturgical elements that need to be considered when selecting and installing sound systems

Facilitate a healthy line of communication between the architect, parish leadership, and the sound contractor

Valuable resource for the parish music director to help with sound system issues as it applies to the music ministry program; so that they can continue to focus on leading the music and not worry about the sound

On-site evaluation of worship space and on-site meeting/consultation with the parish building/renovation committee, and other parish leadership

Supervise the installation of the sound system

Advise on basic acoustic elements that directly affect the sound reinforcement of the worship space, and work with certified acoustician who may be included on the architect’s design team

On-site training to help music directors, cantors, musicians, and pastors understand their new equipment how to customize it for their needs
